Nigel joined the firm's law cadetship program in December 2011. After initially spending time in the firm's settlements department, Nigel joined the busy litigation team in 2012. Nigel has worked on complex litigation matters including contractual disputes, family provision claims and trust and property matters.
As a recipient of the prestigious New Colombo Plan Scholarship, Nigel spent 2017 studying at Renmin University of China, Beijing and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong; as well as travelling around the Asia-Pacific Region.
Nigel has taken his skills and experience to various intellectual pursuits. In 2015 and 2016, he won the University of Western Australia Open Mooting Competition. He has also represented UWA in the Kirby Contract Law Moot, the Sir Harry Gibbs Constitution Law Moot. He was also a Grand Finalist in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal National Mooting Competition.
In 2018, Nigel completed bachelor degrees in Laws and Economics (majoring in Money and Banking) from the University of Western Australia.
Nigel's other interests include learning languages, travel, competing in triathlons and photography.
